The story
SOCCERBEAT is a football entertainment centre in Frankfurt where friends, families, teams and colleagues come together to play, socialise and have fun. With 13 interactive games, 45- and 90-minute sessions, group visits and birthday celebrations, the venue needs ticketing that keeps arrivals smooth from the first booking to the first kick.
For SoccerBeat, flexible timed entry was never a nice-to-have. It was fundamental to the concept.
The challenge
Rather than selling day tickets or a handful of fixed sessions, SOCCERBEAT needed guests to be able to start their experience every 15 minutes. That level of flexibility would help the team manage visitor flow while giving guests more choice over when they visit.
“When we were looking, the most important thing was that the system could work with small time slots,” says Timm Ulrich, Managing Director at SOCCERBEAT. “We needed visitors to be able to start every 15 minutes.”
At the time, many ticketing providers were built around day tickets or broader fixed windows. SOCCERBEAT needed a platform that could support its operating model from day one—and offer a clear, modern experience for both the team and its guests.
The solution
SOCCERBEAT launched with Booqi when the Frankfurt venue opened on 5 June 2024.
With Booqi, the team could offer the flexible timed-entry model that its concept depends on. The platform gave SOCCERBEAT a modern, easy-to-use way to manage online ticket sales and build the foundation for a seamless guest journey.
“Booqi felt modern,” Timm says. “The software was very clear and easy to use.”
For a growing leisure venue, the partnership also mattered. SOCCERBEAT wanted a provider that would listen, move quickly and keep improving the product as the business evolved.
“When you have a problem or a question, somebody actually cares,” says Timm. “They are happy to receive feedback and work on it immediately.”
Better visibility, faster decisions
A recent dashboard update has made it even easier for the SOCCERBEAT team to understand performance at a glance. Instead of spending time compiling exported reports, Timm can now select the period he needs and quickly see sales and visit data in one place.
“I am very happy with it because now it is easy to get an overview of sales and visits with one click,” he says. “We do not need to work through Excel files with lots of information or information in the wrong format.”
The update reflects the value of a close feedback loop. SoccerBeat shared what it needed from reporting; Booqi acted on the input and refined the dashboard quickly.
“That is something I really appreciate in the collaboration,” Timm says. “They are happy to get feedback from me because it can also improve the system for other customers, and I am happy because they act on it quickly.”
A platform built to grow with the venue
As SOCCERBEAT continues to develop its visitor experience, reliable performance and flexible ticketing remain essential. Timm highlights the platform’s stability in recent months and sees Booqi as a strong fit for leisure venues that need timed entry, clear reporting and a responsive partner.
“I really like working with Booqi,” he says. “In the last months we have had no issues and it has been working very stably, so I can really recommend it.”
For SOCCERBEAT, every 15-minute slot is an opportunity to welcome another group of guests. With Booqi, the team has the flexibility and visibility to keep those visits moving smoothly.
